Buying your inventory
We buy in bulk at wholesale and take title to the goods. The stock is ours and so is the risk, which is what makes our judgement about what to order honest.
How the buying works →We work side by side to make your brand grow on multiple platforms. Ventatus buys your product in bulk at wholesale, builds the listings and funds the advertising. You keep the brand.
The offer
Every other route onto a channel asks you to spend first and find out later. Hire someone to run it, or pay an agency a monthly fee, and either way the stock, the ad budget and the risk stay on your side of the table.
We buy the product instead. You invoice us and get paid on terms, the way any wholesale account works. What happens next on the channel is ours to run and ours to fund.
What we take on
A brand sends us a purchase order. From there the channel is ours to run, and ours to pay for.
We buy in bulk at wholesale and take title to the goods. The stock is ours and so is the risk, which is what makes our judgement about what to order honest.
How the buying works →Titles written for how people search, images that survive a thumbnail, bullets that answer the real question, enhanced brand content, and the search placement work that decides whether any of it gets seen.
What we change →Sponsored placements, coupons, deals and launch campaigns, out of our budget rather than yours. We own the stock, so we are the ones who need it to move.
How we spend →We keep the pricing discipline you set in writing and we keep the listing from being degraded by whoever else turns up on it. Brand authorisation is what lets the channel take our side.
What each side brings →From the founder
Most brands I speak to have the same problem. The product is good, it sells where people can pick it up, and online it is either missing or listed badly by someone who never asked permission. They know what it is costing them. They also know that fixing it means hiring for it or paying someone a monthly fee to try.
I started Ventatus to be a third answer. We buy the product. From that point the channel is our job and our money — the listing, the stock, the advertising. You get a purchase order, and you keep your brand.
You will be dealing with me, not an account manager who joined last month. If something is not selling I will tell you, including when the answer is that we got the forecast wrong. That is the whole offer, and it is the reason brands stay.

Who we buy from
Two very different conversations, and we are set up for both. The question we ask is the same either way: is there room on a channel where your product is not showing up properly today?
You have retail traction and you want more channels without adding headcount to manage them. We buy the volume, run the listings and carry the ad spend, so the expansion does not land on your team.
You have product and no channel presence yet. We place the first bulk order, build the listings properly the first time, and fund the advertising that gets early sales moving — without asking you to pay for a launch you cannot yet forecast.
What we buy

We take the channel. You keep the brand.
Send a wholesale price list and we will come back with the channels we would take, the volume we would start at, and what we would change about the listings.
